This afternoon, we were delighted to join the Head and teachers of Front Lawn Primary Acadamy at the Memory Lane Cafe in Leigh Park for afternoon tea.
The owner of the cafe Ian, had allowed the teachers use of the cafe to provide free afternoon tea for Leigh Park residents. This project was to involve the school with the local Community and show pupils the charitable side of the school. The teachers all gave their time free.
It was our sad honour and duty today, to lead the Civic Procession into St Joseph’s Church in Havant for the funeral of Councillor Frida Edwards. Frida had been a Councillor for Bondfields ward for over five years.
She will be much missed by Councillors, Officers and residents for his bubbly and enthusiastic personality.
After the funeral Andy and I joined Frida’s family and friends for a buffet where many stories of her life were exchanged.
